2025-2026 Midweek: 8th Grade Confirmation

We're excited to start another year of Confirmation classes for 8th grade youth! Classes will kick off on Wednesday, September 3rd, and meet from 6pm to 7pm each week.

Weekly classes will conclude on Wednesday, April 29, with Confirmation scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026.

The $30 registration fee helps cover the costs of Confirmation materials, including workbooks and other supplies. First-time guests are invited to register for free this year. When registering, enter the discount code FREE in the checkout total section. Additionally, financial assistance is available to all current and former students to waive the $30 fee if needed. This year's Confirmation Program Curriculum:
8th Grade: Eighth graders will explore what it means to be a Christian from a Lutheran perspective. Students will study the six chief parts of Luther's Small Catechism, examine what makes Lutheran theology unique within Christianity, and learn ways to defend the Christian faith.

8th graders are required to have a copy of Luther's Small Catechism with Explanation, 2017 Edition, printed by Concordia Publishing House (black cover with red/maroon binding). Copies can be purchased during registration or will be available for purchase after the start of Confirmation class.
